Ancient Nutrition Multi Collagen Peptides Protein Powder Strawberry Lemonade

What the "multi" means
Most collagen powders use a single source, usually bovine hide. This one blends four: hydrolyzed bovine collagen peptides, fermented eggshell membrane collagen, chicken bone broth protein concentrate and a probiotic strain. Different sources supply different collagen types, so the eggshell membrane and chicken bring types the bovine peptide on its own doesn't.
Per scoop you get 9 g of collagen protein, 90 mg of vitamin C (a full day's value) and 2 billion CFU of Bacillus coagulans. The vitamin C isn't decoration. Your body needs it to build its own collagen, so pairing the two makes more sense than taking collagen alone.
Using it
One scoop into eight ounces of anything, hot or iced. It dissolves into coffee without clumping, which is the practical test most powders fail. Oatmeal, smoothies and baking all work too, since collagen peptides hold up to heat.
Be aware the strawberry lemonade flavor is assertive. In coffee it's an odd combination. In water, sparkling water or a smoothie it's good. If you want something that vanishes into whatever you're drinking, buy the unflavored.
Before you buy
It contains eggshell membrane and chicken, so check that against your own list. Collagen isn't a complete protein and works alongside the protein in your diet rather than replacing any of it. Give it a couple of months before judging. The research on skin and joint outcomes generally runs eight to twelve weeks before anyone measures anything.
